Database migration
A rehearsed database cutover
Moved the business database and attached files to a dedicated server. Rehearsed the move and checked rollback readiness before cutover.
About 414 GB moved with checks between phases.
System Administrator
I manage IT for a sign and print manufacturer, from user support and networking to Linux servers, backups and production systems.
I'm based in Dayton, Texas, and available for remote work or hybrid and on-site work around Houston.
Three examples of how I plan, make and check a change.

Backups and recovery
Added snapshot history and a second NAS, and configured an offsite transfer. Replaced unreadable database dumps and checked copies separately.
Separate checks for shared-file backup copies.

Mac management
Proved enrollment on a reset pilot, then moved the other Macs in place. Scripts read back settings after applying them.
12 Macs on one management system.
Servers, storage, backups and the cloud platform.
ProjectsAssessments, hardening, phishing response and the network itself.
ProjectsScripts, scheduled jobs and AI agents with command checks.
ProjectsPrinters, cutters and the PCs that drive them.

Automation & AI
Operators scan a code on the work order instead of typing every cut position.

Claude Code and Codex handle remote tasks with approval checks and command-blocking rules enforced outside the model.
